TRSuite version 1807 will offer new and important improvements that will help users to manage their tax reporting more easily as well as more professionally. Below you will find a list of the main important new features:
Enhancements
Installer Improvements
The installer is now signed with our Comodo Code Signing Certificate. End users downloading our digitally signed 32-bit or 64-bit program can be confident that the code has actually come from us and has not been modified since it was signed. Still the MD5 hash code is provided to let the user check the integrity of the binary after the download.
New numbering schema: <YY>.<MAJOR>.<MINOR>.<PATCH>
The version info is now also available in the registry for programmatic checks / automated updates under the following key:
Malaysia CRS delivery module
Enhanced validations according the IRBM Data Preparation Guide v3.1. This version supports more logical checks and not only the technical schema validation.
Uruguay CRS delivery module
This module brings support to generate signed delivery packages required for UY-CRS-Reporting.
Link Notification
After a successfull export it is now possible to open the generated file/folder by clicking the new link notification, allowing the user to open the file with the system’s default application for the according file/folder type.
Full File Path
The full path of a loaded/saved file is now always visible in the status area.
Tool Tips for POP-Over Button
If a blue pop-over button indicates available data, the tool tip shows the details without the need of opening the dialog.
CRS Module
New Country Validator
The solution now supports the creation and validation of CRS reports for the following countries:
- San Marino
- Malaysia
More will be added with upcoming releases.
Separating Document Reference ID Rules in CRS Configuration
With version 1807 it is possible to define different formats for an account holder document reference ID and reporting FI document reference ID as required by different jurisdictions.
Max File Size / Number of Accounts
It is now possible to define the maximum file size / maximum number of account holders allowed for a CRS report as defined by the jurisdiction. Depending on the selected country validator multiple files are generated during the export. In the work item all data can be stored.
BZST Export
The CRS module now supports the export of the account holder report in the format required for the ELMA Interface. Furthermore it supports the generation of the required signature file using the ELSTER certificate of the registred user.
Australia Reporting Format
To reduce compliance costs and leverage existing systems and processes, Australia has adopted the OECD’s CRS XML Schema v1.0 as the domestic reporting format for the CRS, but defined additional requirements for XML Schema files to enable compatibility with the existing reporting systems. CRS files must contain the appropriate wrapper header for lodgment via Bulk Data Exchange (BDE) and Standard Business Reporting (SBR) channels.
Swiss Reporting Format
The CRS module now supports the creation of the archive as required to submit CRS reports to the ESTV SuisseTax portal or using the M2M interface.
OECD0 Support for Reporting FI
For corrected account holder reports it is now possible to set the OECD0 value for reporting FIs.
Document Creation during Export
By selecting the above check box, all report documentation (PDF) is generated during the export.
FATCA Module
Report Statistics
Similar to the CRS module the General Form Info tab now displays statistics for the current FATCA report.
Bulk Void
Allows the user to generate voided reports for all FATCA XML reports within a selected folder.
Common Fixes
Excel Import
- Account amounts are now reported as error, if a non-numeric value is found in the according excel field, was ignored in previous versions.
- Fix for OECD_1 import failed: If you set the Document Type to OECD1 (within the Data Template) and import the Excel file it automatically configures the Doc Type as OECD_1 on the General Info & Reporting FI’s tabs but if you set the Document Type to OECD0 (within the Data Template) it fails to configure the Doc Type at either location (it leaves the Doc Type fields blank).
CRS LUX
- Additional fields for Channel and Identification Number Extension for the AEOI-Reporting Person element added
- Fix for file name creation - the hours part was missing in the timestamp
- uppercase message reference IDs
Common
- Canceling document generation does not show "Gernerated Successfull" message any more
- Minor fixes within the documentation (TIN, Country Code)
